Since establishing itself in 1949, GIA's Gem Trade Laboratory has literally set the industry standard for diamond grading and gemmological identification. GIA Gem Trade Laboratory Reports are regarded throughout the gem and jewellery industry worldwide as the hallmark of integrity, reliability, and consistency in gemmological services and research. The institute only grades natural diamonds and discloses any detected evidence of treatments on its Diamond Grading Reports.
